The Department of Sociology is designed for students who wish to pursue a liberal arts education with a sociological emphasis. This major focuses on sociological perspectives as they are related to social structure, social institutions, social inequality, and the solution to social problems. The Department of Sociology is one of the activity-oriented departments in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences which provides students sociological perspective to develop a critical understanding of society.
