For UG Studies Mahila Maha Vidyalaya was established with the aim of promoting higher education among women in the year 2004 with a vision to empower women by creating awareness and rational in their action and make quality a defining element both in personal and professional lives. The foundation stone was laid down by Acharyavar Jinchandra Suridev. The college provides excellent education at minimum cost and believes in making women confident, competent and dynamic. The college maintains a perfect balance between academics and extracurricular activities. In the session 2017-18 Mahila Maha vidyalaya was merged with faculty of humanities and social sciences and became a co-education college for UG Studies.

The faculty of humanities and social sciences is new name of The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences which is running five departments with postgraduate (Masters) programs and doctoral research. Teaching, research and knowledge expansion are our main focus. The Head of the Department has all the academic powers. The post of head of the department is on rotation basis. Each department belongs to a faculty which is headed by the Dean of the Faculty.

Admission Process

• Candidates seeking admission into any of the courses will be selected on the basis of merit/ Entrance.
• Initially the student is granted only provisional admission which is confirmed after the receipt of valid Transfer Certificate /Migration Certificate and on completion of other relevant admission formalities.
• Application Form & Prospectus can be obtained from admission cell & Faculty office concerned by paying prescribed fee by DD/Cash/ Bank Challan.
• Wide publicity is made through local, state level and national print media.
• Policy of the Government ‘No Management Quota’ being followed.
